A New Calling

Written and composed by: Destina Godwin Ekekeh ©

On a fizzy cold day, while taking my conventional morning ride,

Cycling down the usual path at a speed faster than the speed of light,

The seemingly unending lane with trees and leaves cascading through,

With the constant quiet and lonely pace,

Left with my wildest imagination, Continue reading A New Calling

Lover, Savior

Feature post: Write up by Reynard

Now, I don’t only get to call HIM savior. I get to call HIM lover. I get to call HIM my very best friend.

I know a lot of people may look at this post and wonder what I smoked to get me this high. Truth is it’s HIS presence-

It’s a whole different kind of oxygen.

The type that comes when GOD himself draws you so near to HIM you can practically breath HIM in.

So close to the point HE feels like HE’s closer than your skin.

A place where HIS love for you echoes so loud it drowns out all the noise and opinions this world scream and that voice of condemnation-hahaha

It’s silenced completely to the point where you know beyond a shadow of doubt that with HIM is where you belong.

I’ve found my home in the heart of God.

And if you’ve ever wondered what the walls look like, just know it has your face, my face and the faces of the whole world tattooed throughout its entire parameter.

You may be one of those people who has always looked for a home in places you were never meant to fit in.

….. come as you are. GOD’s heart remains as open as the arms of JESUS the Christ that died for you on that cross……

Peace.
