Apoetsbrain Photography: Beautifully Dangerous

An Apoetsbrain Original © All rights reserved.

Innocent and harmless it appears.

It seems as though it has no other care in the world but to glide and twirl across the waters.

Its every move made as though to mesmerize and hypnotize its prey.

Its color dancing to the light pretending to be light itself.

But like a moth hopelessly drawn to a flame,

its poison soon spreads,

and the hug you came over to give turns to a strangle.

Soon mesmerized and breathless you fall.

True Laughter

Have you laughed? I mean really truly laughed.

You know the type that starts from your feet making your toes curl. That one that travels up your legs making them shake like a leaf in the wind.

That laughter that boils up in your belly like steam in an enclosed space looking for a way out. That one that literally causes you pain until you open your throat and let it all out and open.

Apoetsbrain Photography: The Water Dwellers

Beautiful in their own fins and uniforms.  Swirling, gliding, socializing. Each design so unique. Unapologetic for existing and so alive. These are the usually forgotten water dwellers.

The Faces of Spring

“Whenever spring comes, Hope springs up alongside these flowers.

Every flower unique in its own way. Sharing its beauty with the world. As if to say ‘Cheer up. Spring is here!”

As the trees come alive with flushes of greens, yellows, and reds, my spirit comes alive with vigour.

With spring comes a new peace and tranquility.

With it comes a heart of gratutude for all that God has made.

photography: Take me to the wild (retake)

Recently, I visited the zoo on my trip to Shanghai and came across the wild. I realized that we sometimes use the word ‘wild’ arbitrarily. When i ran into the ligers, the tigers, and the lions, i felt goosebumps spread across my skin, and my flight response kick in albeit a wall of glass between us. Welcome to the wild.

Photography with G&C

Founded in June 2017, G&C is a unique duo.

The band is composed of Gin (孙吉) and CaiCai (蔡秉汝) . They both have a strong sense of music and a seamless ability to create musical masterpieces together. Both of them excel in impromptu ensembles; their powerful telepathy even makes their rehearsing sounds like an improvisation. A tasteful blend of Chinese and Western in its true form, the sound of the band is one with a soul. Recently, this duo have begun to delve more into the divine world of photography.

They make us stop in time to appreciate the wonders of being created for a purpose.

For at one moment God said let there be Sandy, and then there was.

Pelayo

It is my birthday today. Maybe no one will remember me.

Yet I am happy within and so thankful to God for the life He has given me.

I know life is not easy and it shouldn’t always be. It may test me, judge me, but may lead me to several results.

One day has value. One hour has much more than that. One minute is even better, and each second given to reading this is perhaps the most valuable gift to me.

So give value to life now, you can change it or it may change you.

~ Thoughts by Pelayo

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are past away. Behold all things have become new.

~ 2 Corinthians 4:17

Mental Boost

“If anyone makes you feel less than you actually are, less important, less cool, less awesome.

If in any way they make you question your value in life at the innermost part of your being, or when you are alone,

then they need to go. Simple.

You need every mental second you have to think of amazing things and dwell on amazing people.”

So tell me. Have you ever truly laughed?

New Skin By Samuel Balyejusa

“People do not resist change because they do not like it.
We love change, we get new haircuts every now and then, we change our clothes daily and we are always eager to try the newest restaurant in town.
People resist change because they don’t understand it.

It is paramount that we learn to embrace change because that is the very essence of learning. Without learning, we stagnate only for the ever changing world to catch up with us and force us to change; usually under much less favorable circumstances.

Take the steps to embrace change and avoid being forced to change as soon as what you know is no more.”
