Photography with Joe II

Today on Apoetsbrain we are featuring photography by Joe Onginjo. Joe is a fun, spirited and strong willed soul from Kenya. He recently rekindled his passion for photography as a way of making new friends and capturing the intricate details of day to day life. He is currently in China doing his PhD research in Management Science.

When asked the motivation for photography, Joe said “Pictures sometimes don’t need words to describe them and I guess I am following in my Dad’s footsteps (coz that’s how he met my Mum). I am looking to meet deep kindred souls who aren’t afraid to pull back their mask and proudly show their scars. After all we are our own perfect imperfections.”

Without further ado, here are some epic shots from Joe. Majority of the picks for today are from Joe’s Black and White Series, others with color give deeper insight and meaning to everyday experiences.
