She always came in second place to self love.
So I write her a letter to remind her;
She is a bad queen.
Not a bad bitch, because she knows her worth.
Time to put yourself first.
Time to understand the definition of a queen.
No matter the trouble the Empire is going to keep rising.
Never let the world see the crying.
Even if they do, show them you are hard too.
Hard on that passion.
That energy you bring to the stage is God’s passing
Through my veins, through all the sweat, tears and pain.
From the death of a boy who wanted to marry me, to my aunt Stacey and unborn child too.
Through my youth when I let out anger through being wild.
One thing I never let them do is keep me silent!
I always would fight it.
Break out my crazy, to get away from negativity.
Because deep down inside you knew you deserved better,
But you wanted to be loved time and time again so you settled.
It’s time to know your worth now!
You’re a bad queen.
Not a bad bitch, because you know your worth.
Time to put yourself first.
Time to clean out your fears and steer clear of abusive people.
The one trying to steel your soul, dig deeper.
Not everyone is made for you.
Evil does exist in the world and it wants to see you fail,
But that empire keeps rising.
Never let them see the crying.
Even if they do, show them you go hard too!
Hard on that passion!
Show how God goes through my skin and keeps passing.
Passing the crown to a bad queen.
Not a bad bitch, because she respects her worth.
