I’ve lost myself so many times,
looking for people who didn’t know how missing they were.
Now, I do no such thing.
I’d rather lay in the comfort of my bed,
my ideas infested pillows,
my tear drenched mattress,
and cover myself with my duvet of emotions.
Though summer is here,
I enjoy the soothing winds from my AC.
Never to think about lost souls anymore.
