Sometimes, we cannot expect those in our lives to be encouraging of our daily endeavours.
Sometimes, the loudest voices of derogation, or the most demotivating of expressions do not come from without, but from within.
Yet, even in those words, the wise will hear inspiration rising like a flood. Rising higher and higher like waves ready to swallow up all confusion.
From negativism, the wise will hear the truth. They will use that truth as fodder to become grander.
Fear not when you do not hear encouragement or support from those you most expect it from. Fear not.
Remember that even Jesus Christ could not do great works in His city. He had to leave.
Remember that everyone who watched him grow referred to him as just the lowly ‘Carpenter’s son’.
The fact that He stands as Son of God and of Man, healed the sick and raised the dead, was even worse blasphemy to their ears than they could comprehend.
He had to leave for His purpose on earth to be completed.
So dear friend, stand strong. Do not be moved by words of discouragement. Be strong.
